摘要:
Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) could reduce seizure intensity and improve cognitive function in epileptic animals. Additionally, NMN exhibited inhibitory effects on neuronal apoptosis. These therapeutic effects were found associated with the down‐regulation of fission proteins (Drp1 and Fis1) and the up‐regulation of fusion proteins (Mfn1 and Mfn2) through the SIRT1‐PGC‐1α pathway, thus promoting mitochondrial energy metabolism protection.
