Objective To understand the status quo of temporarily employed nurses in some hospital of Hubei Province. Methods Directors of nursing department in 15 hospitals of Hubei province were interviewed by self-designed questionnaire. Results The temporarily employed nurses became an important part of nurse staff, but their labor right were not protected deservedly.
