朱熹理学的"知先行后"和阳明学的"知行合一"的知行观,说到底都是在做格心的工夫。明清实学实现了从德性之知到闻见之知的转变,强调要从不断变化的"气"中去探求自然界、人类社会的规律,提出了"知行相资,以行为贵"的知行观,这种实事求是的科学精神直接促进了中国近代科学的兴起。

The theory and practice of both Neo-Confucianism and LU-WANG heart studying, is in fact the matter of peering inside oneself. The practical thoughts during the Ming and Qing dynasties realized the transformation from knowledge of virtue to knowledge of sense, empha- sizing that people should explore the laws of nature and human society from the changing mate- rial substances, and proposing this philosophy of theory and practice.
