长江中游城市群是长江经济带的重要组成部分，是中国经济新的增长极，在新时代下，数字经济是长江中游城市群经济发展的有力支撑。从数字基础、产业基础、人才储备等3个方面建立数字经济发展评价指标体系，以2011-2020年的相关数据为依托，运用熵值法对长江中游城市群的数字经济发展水平进行测度。研究结果显示：从地区来看，长江中游城市群内各城市之间、省会城市与地级市的数字经济发展水平差异较大，各地级市整体发展较均衡；从年度来看，长江中游城市群的数字经济发展水平趋势向好，至2020年受疫情影响发展水平有所下降，总体呈上升态势；长江中游城市群数字基础设施建设正逐步推进，数字产...
