To study on the removal of pigment and protein in the polysaccharides from Panax japonicus. C. A. Mey, ethyl alcohol was used to strip pigment of polysaccharides. Sevag method, TCA method and caroid method were chosen. Compared with effects of the removed protein and the recovered polysaccharide, the yield of removed protein and the rate of recovered polysaccharides were used to evaluate the factor levels.
