Al2O3 /Ti2 AlN composites were prepared by vacuum hot pressing, by which Al2O3 particles as strengthening phase were in situ formed. In this paper, the flexural properties of hot-pressed composites at different temperatures were tested, and the effects of different strain rates on the flexural properties were studied.
