Response speed of liquid crystal displays(LCD) is contrast to the rotational viscosity of liquid crystal materials. So far, the problem that low-temperature magnitude dependence of viscosity and response time has not been resolved, which has become the bottleneck for development and application of liquid crystal display technology. In this paper, four new self-designed double-ring difluoromethoxybenzene compounds (Fig 1.) were synthesized. They were tested by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 19F NMR and MS.
