Casing damage during water injection pressure relief is difficult to resolve in oil field. The fluid pressure of inner casing wall undergoes a sudden decrease because of injecting water release. At the same time, the effective stress of soil around the well-bore increases quickly, and the extrusion pressure of casing bearing also increases. In order to study the mechanism of the problem, a fluid-solid coupled model was set up.
