Polystyrene microspheres were prepared by the emulsifier-free polymerization method. Using the polystyrene microspheres as seeds, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid as template molecules, the monodispersed molecularly imprinted polymer microspheres (MIPMs) were prepared by a single-step swelling and polymerization method.
