20世纪40年代英美的诗歌中出现了一股新的潮流,那就是以狄兰·托马斯为主要代表的新浪漫主义派别。狄兰·托马斯的童年生活是在威尔士斯旺西镇度过的,小镇里的童年让狄兰·托马斯接触到了大自然,这对于狄兰·托马斯今后的诗歌写作生涯是至关重要的,带给了他很多创作的灵感。狄兰·托马斯非常善于意象的使用,在他的诗歌中就像充满音乐的节奏一般,这也是其诗歌风格的显著特点。《羊齿草山》是作者狄兰·托马斯比较典型的作品之一,通过对其语言风格进行探讨,希望能够帮助读者更好地理解狄兰·托马斯作品的内涵和创作风格。
