This study examined how networks and We-media platforms enhance pragmatic competencies among college students in China. Research involved 455 teachers from 17 colleges through questionnaires (analyzed with SPSS) and 49 participants in semi-structured interviews (analyzed with NVivo). Findings revealed positive correlations between digital tools and pragmatic competence development: We-media platform usage (Beta = 0.275, of online communication (Beta = 0.385, p = 0.002), and exposure p = 0.003), frequency to diverse online discourse communities (Beta = 0.487, p = 0.001).
