The objective of this work is to prepare porous Ni-Sn alloys by low temperature activation reaction sintering method. The phase composition, volume expansion ratio, pore structures and pore morphology of the sintered samples were studied by x-ray diffraction (XRD), vernier caliper measurement, aperture tester, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
