Cardamine violifolia (CV) is an important raw material for selenoprotein production. In this study, the protein of CV was extracted using conventional extraction (CE), ultrasound assisted extraction (UAE), pulsed electric pretreatment followed by CE (PEF + CE), and pulsed electric pretreatment followed by UAE (PEF + UAE), respectively. The result indicated that the yields of protein varied with extraction temperatures from 30 to 70 degrees C, while the highest yield was obtained at 40 degrees C for all these four methods.
