The seepage of dam foundation is very important for dam stability. But selection the seepage parameters is a very hard task. The back analysis is a practical method to solve this problem. But back analysis of seepage parameters for dam foundation is a complicated optimum problem. To solve this problem, there exist a lot of shortcomings to use traditional optimum methods, and also genetic algorithm. So, in this paper, a more suitable bionics algorithm that is called immunized evolutionary programming is used to solve this problem.
