Geopolymers are coating materials with excellent properties that have received considerable attention due to their high resistance to weathering, chemical attack, abrasion, and adhesion. This paper further investigates the performance of geopolymer-based coatings by examining the effect of varying percentages of zinc oxide on their antimicrobial and durability properties.
