In this paper, nanocomposite film of ZnO/HDPE was prepared via melt blending and hot compression molding process. The morphology, DSC, mechanical and barrier properties of the film were also investigated. The results showed that a better dispersion of modified nanoparticles occurred at content of 0. 5wt% in HDPE matrix, and as modified-ZnO nanoparticles increase, tensile strength and tear strength of composite films would first increase then decrease.
