In the traditional translation teaching, lectures and discussions are in the "vacuum" mode. Social and cultural properties of translation are ignored. Students are trained to be the translation machines lacking subjective initiative. In this case, information technology with the characteristics of situation, interactivity, multidimensionality, sociality, timeliness and openness offers us a new perspective of re-examining translation teaching.
