A rapid detection method for chlortetracycline (CTC) was developed by dot immunogold filtration assay (DIGFA). The anti-CTC antibody was coated onto nitrocellulose membrane to capture gold-labeled CTC-BSA conjugate and CTC in samples. Positive or negative can be identified by shade of a visible red dot. Results showed that the detection limit is 0.4μg/ml. Quantitative analysis of CTC can be achieved between 0.6μg/ml and 1μg/ml. There is a good correlation of detection results between the method and ELISA with correlation coefficient of 0.97...
