The issue of buyer-seller relationship in supply-chain management research is increasingly becoming critical. Global competition and maturing domestic markets have driven supply-chain members to re-assess their distribution techniques to remain competitive in the market. Firms need inventory replenishment systems that enhance customer service and reduce inventory costs as well.
