Ni-based catalysts are used in a wide range of biomass catalytic reactions. To further improve the catalytic performance and anti-deactivation ability of the catalyst, a Ni/CaZnAl catalyst was synthesized by using the sol–gel method. N2 adsorption–desorption, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF), temperature programmed reduction (TPR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to determine the activity of the catalyst.
