Objective The decolorization process of spinosad extract by ion exchange resin and the effects of adsorption conditions on its decolorization capacity were investigated. Methods On the basis of decolorization rate and the rate of loss of spinosad, the conditions to remove the color of spinosad by ion exchange resin were optimized. Results 410nm was determined to the maximum absorption wavelength of spinosad extract.
