Multiple bright–dark soliton solutions in terms of determinants for the space-shifted nonlocal coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation are constructed by using the bilinear (Kadomtsev–Petviashvili) KP hierarchy reduction method. It is found that the bright–dark two-soliton only occurs elastic collisions.
