为确保湖北省林业资源的可持续健康发展,必须深入研究该省林业现代化的发展水平,以制定科学的林业资源发展规划.本研究通过因子分析方法,使用两个维度——省份与时间进行比较分析.在省份维度上,通过测算各个省(区、市)的林业现代化综合得分,将湖北省与我国其他23个省、自治区、直辖市的林业现代化发展水平进行横向比较;在时间维度上,通过测算湖北省2012～2021年间林业现代化发展水平指数,分析比较湖北省的发展禀赋优势和不足,为湖北省的林业现代化发展规划提供更加丰富的数据,以供参考.
