This study was aimed at the development of a green and reusable catalyst for Friedel-Crafts acylation. Firstly, Hydroxyapatite (HAP) and Hydroxyapatite-zinc bromide (HAP-ZnBr2) have been prepared by the co-precipatation method and hydrothermal method respectively.
