Glucose nonenzymatic detection is of significance in the fields of biological, environmental, food monitoring, and clinical analysis. By employing mesoporous NiCo2O4 nanowires as electrochemical sensor, highly sensitive nonenzymatic detection of glucose has been realized. The NiCo2O4 nanowires were synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method and subsequent thermal treatment.
