Due to the high specific capacity and energy density, lithium-sulfur batteries have been recognized as the most promising energy storage devices for electric vehicles. However, they are also faced with some problems, such as poor electronic conductivity and severe polysulfide migration. In this work, hierarchical porous carbons (HPCs) are prepared and developed as sulfur host materials in the lithium-sulfur batteries.
