Contamination with fumonisin B1 (FB1) represents a global health problem. FB1 exposure may also trigger intestinal injury by activating inflammatory responses, leading to a reduction in production performance and economic benefits. However, the mechanism of FB1-induced intestinal inflammatory injury is still unclear. At the same time, it is urgent to develop antibiotic alternatives and therapeutic targets to alleviate antibiotic resistance and to ensure effective treatment of intestinal inflammatory injury.
