Bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) exposure is a key inducer of intestinal inflammatory injury in weaned piglets, resulting in decreased growth performance of pigs and causing severe economic losses to the swine industry; however, the mechanism of intestinal inflammatory injury is still unclear.
