Chlorine evolution reaction (CER) is a very important electrochemical reaction process in modern electrochemical industry. To develop an efficient CER electrode, not only the active components but also the morphology of the electrode should be considered. In this work, the ordered spherical Ru-RuO2 electrode was prepared by hydrothermal reaction for improving the CER activity.
