The one‐step mildly synthesized carbon dots (CDs) achieve reversible switching between cyan and orange‐red emission by adjusting the [H+] under extremely acidic conditions. In combination with a smartphone, a fluorescent sensor is built based on CDs for the successful on‐spot visual detection of [H+].
