Simple Summary At present, studies on the rumen degradation characteristics of amaranth hay at different growth stages are limited. In the current study, four growth stages (squaring stage (SS), initial bloom stage (IS), full-bloom stage (FS) and mature stage (MS)) were selected. The chemical composition and rumen degradation characteristics of amaranth hay at four stages were studied in detail.
