Spinous spheres of Mn3O4 nanoparticles have been successfully prepared using cationic monomer doped manganese acetate as precursory solid and thermal decomposition at 400 °C. The product was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscope. The adsorption performance of spinous spheres composed of Mn3O4 for 1-Naphthyl ethylene diamine-4-azobenzene-4'-sulfonic acid was investigated. The adsorbent showed high efficiency for the decolorization of 1-Naphthyl ethylene diamine-4-azobenzene- 4'-sulfonic acid for in contaminated water. ©(2014) Trans Tech Publications...
