The Gum Ghatti (GG)/Konjac Glucomannan (KGM)/zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) composite aerogels (GKZ) were synthesized by the sol-gel method and the vacuum freeze-drying method for effective removal of ciprofloxacin (CIP) from contaminated water. The results showed that the addition of different concentrations (0, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 wt%) of GG could promote homogeneity but weakened the molecular interaction of the aerogel system without water.
