In order to investigate water-flooded mechanism and logging data response characteristics, a series of water displacing oil tests of high permeability reservoirs are performed. Rock pyrolysis, gas chromatograph of saturated hydrocarbon and fluorescent microgram of samples are developed. Meanwhile, variation ruled and trend of rock pyrolysis, gas chromatograph of saturated hydrocarbon and fluorescent microgram followed by water cut increasing are analyzed. Logging data response characteristics of high permeability reservoirs are discussed. The study provides theoretical foundation for evaluating different range of water-flooded of high permeability reservoirs by logging data.

The high infiltration rates in compacted landfill clay cover have largely been attributed to preferential flow paths in the clay layer caused desiccation cracking and animal burrows. In order to remedy the defects, a new evapotranspirative cover is designed. The cover is composed of 1m vegetation layer, 0.5m biointrusion layer and 1m barrier layer. On the basis of considering precipitation and evaporation, a dynamic model is developed for simulating moisture transport in evapotranspirative landfill cover. The results show that the moisture content near the surface is highly sensitive to climate loading, but the effect is significantly attenuated and time lagged along with increasing depth. The moisture from biointrusion layer will transport to vegetation and barrier layer because of capillary break The biointrusion layer can still drain during the rainfall. Parametric analyses are conducted to simulate variations in precipitation rate and precipitation event duration. The experimental data are reasonably agree with model simulation. It is conclusion that the new evapotranspirative cover may substitute the conventional compacted clay cover at arid to semi-arid area.

Based on sealing coring analysis data and the commissioned well's sidewall coring analysis data, we took the sidewall coring's rock pyrolysis, saturated hydrocarbon gas chromatography, and fluorescent microgram analysis as technological means. Meanwhile, we emphasized on the evaluation of the thick reservoir and thin-poor layer to establish the method of interpretation and evaluation of water-flooded layer and logging in la-sa-xing oilfield. It doesn 't not only raise the application level of logging data, but also the delicate evaluation level of thick reservoir. Moreover, it has provided interpretation basis for the development, layer selection and perforation of thin-poor layer while secondary and tertiary infilling is going, which dramatically enhanced the development results of thick reservoir and thin-poor layer.
