摘要:
Writer identification recently has been considerably studied due to its various applications in forensic and commercial sections. Because offline, text-independent writer identification has limited requirements in writing sample collection, it has wider applications and meanwhile more difficult to handle. By considering handwriting images as visually distinctive textures, we propose a new method for offline, text-independent writer identification based on multiscale version of Gaussian Markov Random Fields (GMRF) model. The handwriting features are extracted in wavelet domain of handwriting textures in which global texture feature (such as directional information) from handwriting can be detected. In addition, GMRF is investigated to capture different local spatial structures of graphemes (character-shape) written by different people. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms both 2-D Gabor model and wavelet-based GGD method.

Writer identification is an important and active branch of biometrics, which means the methods for uniquely recognizing humans based upon their intrinsic physical or behavioral traits. In this paper, we propose one new method for off-line, text-independent writer identification by using the fractal dimension of wavelet subbands in Gabor domain of the handwriting images. In this method, the handwriting images are firstly decomposed into a series of Gabor subbands at different orientations and frequencies. Every Gabor subband is extended into one data sequence. Then, every sequence is decomposed into a series of wavelet subpatterns by wavelet transform. Afterwards, the mesh fractal dimensions of every wavelet subpattern are extracted as the feature for writer identification. Compared to the traditional Gabor method for off-line, text-independent writer identification, our method can extract more effective features to distinguish the handwritings, and hence achieve much better identification results. 摘要:
The die of piezoresistance based pressure sensor and its driving circuits has been integrated into one printed circuit board which is specially designed. Then the whole PCB is packaged into a metal shell by SIP technology and special packaging techniques to form a full pressure sensor. Tests have proved that this kind of pressure sensor has good performance. Compared with traditional pressure sensors, these sensors based on SIP have small volume, low cost, and could compatible with the strict standard of vehicle.

摘要:
Images often contain noise due to the capturing devices, environment and even human errors. For the image further processing, compression, fractal and so on, the image denoising is necessary. Wavelet analysis plays a very important role in the image denoising. In this paper, we improve the wavelet thresholding method by using multi-scale thresholds and a new thresholding function. Also, in case of large noise, a median filter is suggested to be used at last. Based on Lipschitz exponent and wavelet transform, we theoretically give the multi-scale thresholds. In order to obtain a better denoising result, We also present a new thresholding function instead of the hard or soft thresholding function. Experiment results show that our improved method gives a higher PSNR and has less visual artifacts compared with other methods.

摘要:
Thermally induced optically-distortion effects are one of the main impediments to be overcome in developing high power solid-state lasers. To compensate the dynamic aberration of laser beam, an intra-cavity adaptive optical system was developed. A beaconing light was introduced to measure the wavefront aberration of intracavity laser beam and an MEMS deformable mirror was used to improve the wavefront aberration and output power of the laser . A genetic algorithm was used to adjust the control voltages of 37 independent electrodes to vary the shape of the deformable mirror surface such that the aberration of laser beam can be compensated .The experimental result showed that the output power was increased nearly 3 times and the beam quality was improved obviously by closed loop automatic control of the adaptive optical system.

摘要:
The need for supporting real time multimedia applications for users of Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is becoming essential. The aim of this paper is to construct bandwidth-satisfied multicast tree for QoS routing in TDMA-based mobile ad hoc networks. The paper proposes an efficient path bandwidth calculation algorithm. An effective multicasting routing algorithm is presented to build a multicast tree among all the multicast members. Simulation results show that compared with MAODV, our proposed QoS routing algorithm can significantly improve the performance of QoS multicast routing in MANETs in terms of success ratio and average delay.

摘要:
A novel micro-deformable mirror with continuous facet is designed and fabricated in this paper. It consists of 49 electrostatically driven actuators, and its effective reflective surface is 900 millimeter square, which is a significant feature over other existed mirrors. Some processes are discussed in detail for mirror fabrication, in which a convex compensation method is designed for the anisotropic etching and a special structure is also used to improve the quality of anodic bonding.

The traditional grey prediction model is widely used in various fields, but it has some limitations. In this paper, a method based on genetic algorithm optimizing grey modeling process is introduced, and the flow chart of modeling is given. This method makes full use of the advantages of the grey prediction model and characteristics of genetic algorithm to find global optimization. So the prediction model is more accurate. The Example shows that the model can be used as oil price forecast an effective tool for prediction.

Face recognition has been studied extensively recently. The main difficulty faced by the current face recognition techniques stems from large variations in facial expression, pose and illumination. This paper presents an effective method for face recognition using nonseparable wavelet domain block-based PCA(BPCA) method. Our investigations demonstrate that the constructed nonseparable wavelet can detect more singularities of the face image than traditional separable wavelet. The BPCA approach has overcome the low accuracy of PCA in cases of extreme change of facial expression, pose and illumination variations. The face image is first transformed into the wavelet domain using nonseparable wavelet, then the wavelet subbands are divided into sub-images with the same size. The block-based PCA method is then applied to extract features from the sub-images. Finally, weighted Euclidean distance based k-Nearest Neighborhood (kNN) classifier is performed for similarity measurement. Experimental results on the Yale database, the ORL database, and the CMU PIE Database demonstrate that the proposed approach outperforms traditional methods.

摘要:
This paper presented the factors affecting the wavelength of laser diode. A circuit for temperature controlling for laser wavelength stabilization in CPT atomic clock was designed. Experiment test showed that the wavelength could be freely changed and stabilized by the circuit. The wavelength control accuracy is 0.0012nm.

In traditional gatekeeper architectures, call routing has many drawbacks such as long call setup delay, heavy burden on gatekeeper, low channel utilization and lack of scalability. We propose a scalable routing architecture for next generation gatekeeper, which is independent of real-time services plane. The design principle is gatekeeper call routing may be separated from its call process. Next generation multimedia networks, which feature with large capability and multi-domains, consist of Connecting Domain for call routing and Service Domain for call process. Next generation gatekeeper is the important entity in Connecting Domain, adopts Telephony Routing over IP to realize dynamic routing. We consider this routing as a special type of service and investigate the method of routing creation and routing provisioning. Validation in a testing platform shows that the proposed routing architecture can provide admirable routing performance. It also goes through stress and capability test. So it is a better choice for multimedia communication system with flexible extension and network cost saving.
