By discussing the structural form’s effects on the architectural modelling,this paper elaborates the relationship between structural form and architectural modelling essential factors,and reveals the aesthetic characteristics of the structural morphology as well as how to express structural aesthetics value.Results show that the creative way to achieve the unification of architectural modelling and structural form is basic approach architectural design’s structure manifestation,and sevaral methods of this manifestation are also presented.

According to the geometric significance of the reliability index, the solving of the reliability index is converted to the optimal solution of minimum without complicated functional derivation. The optimal model of solving reliability index is generated. The software MATLAB is used to establish the general calculation program of reliability index, which could facilitate the calculation of structure reliability index.

In order to study the effect of fibers to the anti-crack performance of the concrete, sixteen different plat restraint specimens with four different fiber mixing amount (steel fiber is 0, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and polypropylene fiber is 0, 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3% respectively), are selected to comparison about the influence on the anti-cracking property of the hybrid fiber concrete, single fiber reinforced concrete and plain concrete. Experiments show that fibers increasing the anti-crack performance of the concrete significantly. The relationship between fibers’ content and the crack area is analyzed, and the microscopic mechanism of the anti-crack performance is discussed. Considering the economy and the convenient for construction, the column ratio of 0.5% steel fiber and 0.1% polypropylene fiber is recommended.

A cost-effective better performing silicone waterproofing agent interpenetrating polymer network coating for the protection of concrete has been developed. The working mechanism of the silicone polymer on the concrete was revealed and the effect of the material on the water absorption, chloride diffusion coefficient of concrete was analyzed. The results showed that the deep penetration of silicone material formed a hydrophobic layer and provides an effective protection against water corrosion and chloride ingress. A long-term protection can be guaranteed in case the surface of the concrete is waterproofing.

Rainfall infiltration is currently one of the important factors in studying the soil-slope stability. By using saturated-unsaturated seepage theory, the traditional limit equilibrium method and so on, analyze the water content and the pore-water pressure changes under the rainfall condition, then analyze the influence mechanism of the slope stability. Through the Seep/W and the Slope/W of the GEO-Slope software, do the numerical simulation of the slope stability under the rainfall condition, to seek the distribution of pore-water pressure on the rainfall situation and the influence of the seepage field from various parameters such as rainfall intensity and the soil permeability coefficient, thus to study the slope stability.

With rapid economic development and the progressively more intense competition, building industries are facing the constant change, and these will bring risk to the enterprise development. Risk management is needed in the manufacturing course and has become the indispensable part of the national lash-up system. Based on the analysis of risk management situation of construction firms, the connotations of risk management are analyzed in this paper, then the necessity and approaches are also expounded. Appropriate patterns of risk management in building industry are erected based on description and analysis of the risk and the effective methods of risk management are presented. Through systematic research and analysis, this paper intends to provide theoretical foundation for the risk management of the building industry in China and strengthen their capabilities to evade risks.

The purpose of this paper is to summarize the performance of permeable asphalt pavements (PAP) and to recommend future areas of research and development. The development of PAP as an integral part of sustainable drainage systems is reviewed in the context of traditional and modern urban drainage. The difference between the permeable asphalt pavement and the ordinary bituminous concrete pavement is discussed. A description of the seepage calculation model based on the structural characteristics of PAP is presented. And also water level fluctuations of both the water permeable asphalt pavement and the ordinary bituminous concrete pavement are analyzed by comparing their numerical simulation results. Finally the drainage performance of the water permeable asphalt pavement is demonstrated. The long-term effectiveness of permeable pavement as an alternative to traditional impervious asphalt pavement is examined. The simulation results could provide significant guidance for the structure design of water permeable asphalt pavement.

As base of the transportation system and pivot of international logistics, ports play quite a significant role in the logistics supply chain. The economical benefits of a port are directly influenced by the allocation of the tugboats. The tugboat shortage can result in an increase of the ship waiting time, leading to indisposition of being attached or affiliated to. On the other hand, low tugboat utilization is possibly caused by tugboat superabundance, resulting in a waste of port resources. In this paper, through the method of simulation and optimization, a heuristic simulation and optimization system is developed for the allocation of tugboats in port. The system can theoretically make possible the best allocation of tugs, due to which scientific decisions are much easier to make for the port managers. The design of architecture and the process simulation and optimization process are core of this paper, in which also proposed is a heuristic algorithm for optimal allocation of port tugs based on evolution strategies, leading to an improvement of the adaptability and diversity of the system from parent to future generations through the operation of the solution space.

Orthogonal tests are designed for hybrid fiber reinforced concrete. Bending toughness of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete, with the substrate intensity C30, the quantity of the volume for the steel fiber dosage 0~1.5% and polypropylene fiber dosage 0~0.3%, are studied. The results show that the hybrid fibers significantly improve the toughness of the concrete matrix. When the dosage reaches to a certain number, the affection of fiber toughness is decreased. Based on the test results the best dosage of hybrid fibers which is the steel fiber 1% mixed with 0.1% polypropylene fiber is recommended.

A stress-chemistry method was used to investigate the expansion behavior of mortars made with steel slag sand (SSM). The results indicated that periclase and free CaO were the main mineral components resulted in expansion of SSM by means of volume increment and local stress concentration after hydration. So it can be concluded that stress concentration arised from enrichment and uneven distribution of expansile mineral components was the main reason resulted in the volume expansion of SSM. Model of expansion of SSM was built according to the characteristics of crack and types of versicolor particles.
