摘要:
A statistical model is proposed for the analysis of fatigue crack propagation, based on the theory of fracture mechanics and stochastic process. The fatigue growth process is approximated as a diffusive Markov process. The associated backward Fokker-Plank equation and boundary conditions are written, and the distribution of crack propagation time under a given crack size is obtained by using an Eigenfunction method. The sought distribution is expressed in the form of a convergent infinite series. An examples is presented to illustrate the application of the method. The predicted results seem to agree with the experimental data.

摘要:
A porous media theory has been proposed to characterize oxygen transport processes associated with membrane blood oxygenation devices. For the first time, a rigorous mathematical procedure based a volume averaging procedure has been presented to derive a complete set of the governing equations for the blood flow field and oxygen concentration field. As a first step towards a complete three-dimensional numerical analysis, one-dimensional steady case is considered to model typical membrane blood oxygenator scenarios, and to validate the derived equations. The relative magnitudes of oxygen transport terms are made clear, introducing a dimensionless parameter which measures the distance the oxygen gas travels to dissolve in the blood as compared with the blood dispersion length. This dimensionless number is found so large that the oxygen diffusion term can be neglected in most cases. A simple linear relationship between the blood flow rate and total oxygen transfer rate is found for oxygenators with sufficiently large membrane surface areas. Comparison of the one-dimensional analytic results and available experimental data reveals the soundness of the present analysis.
摘要:
The durability of sealing materials for road joint plays an important role in service of roads. The durability of silicone rubber sealant was studied by way of the testing its properties of liquid resistance, chemical resistance, alternate freezing and thawing stability and adhesion at various temperatures. The results evident that silicone rubbers have good thermal characteristics, chemical resistance, and environmental stability, which make this class of materials very attractive selection for use in the outdoor applications.

Fatigue cracking of asphalt mixtures is the main damage phenomena for asphalt pavement, which seriously affects the pavement performance. The main influencing factors of fatigue cracking are material properties and load condition. Sisal fiber is a new road material; fracture mechanics theory and finite element method are used to detect whether sisal fiber will enhance fatigue cracking stability of asphalt mixtures. The moving uniformly distributed load is used to simulate vehicle loadings. Gradation of the mixture is AC-13, adjusted synthesis in each group as follows: basalt 1#: basalt 2#: basalt 3# : basalt 4#: slag = 20%: 32%: 12%: 35%: 1%, dosage of sisal fiber is 0.2%. ABAQUS finite element software and singular element are utilized to build the sisal fiber asphalt mixture model with cracks, as well as the common asphalt mixture. The calculated results showed that stress intensity factors of cracks for sisal fiber are reduced. The main reason is due to sisal fiber improving the modulus of asphalt mixtures. Therefore, sisal fiber can improve performance by increasing resistance to fatigue cracking.

The paper analyzed the key points in design of partially prestressed concrete pier cap beam. Design ideal and design method of partially prestressed concrete pier cap beam were elaborated. Results between deformation and stress were compared. Which shows that partially prestressed is more excellent than fully prestressed in long-span concrete pier cap beam.

摘要:
A wavelet estimation method is presented herein to estimate deep pit settlement. In this method, the pit settlement is decomposed into the trend settlement and the stochastic settlement by using Wavelet Analysis based on the characteristic of influencing factor. The model identifier is established by using artificial neural network (ANN), and trained to approximate the trend settlement. Then, the prediction controller developed could be applied for estimating the actual settlement. Finally, the verification examples show that the WIAN is an effective tool for predicting the pit settlement dynamically , high precision could be expected and achieved.

There is little provision about construction in the assessment system for green building in China, but green construction plays an important role in green building and it is a trend that the assessment system for green building should include the green construction in China. Based on contrasts of evaluation standard for green building, combining with operation experiments of green Olympic building assessment system, difficulties in developing of green construction industry in China is proposed such as policy, time, concept and materials. Thus, popularizing measures for green construction are suggested, including extending standards for green building, establishing owner inspiriting system and building system, developing popularity effect of green construction.
