摘要:
This paper presents a new method of manufacturing spherical vessels based on the technology of non-die explosive forming, that is highly energy efficient. Comparing spherical pressure vessels with other shapes of vessel, they have a higher load capacity, have less area per unit volume, have better economic benefit and have a nicer appearance: of late, they have been used increasingly.

Coal, due to its heterogenous nature and complex structure; physical, chemical and petrographic, introduces two-fold complications during its combustion in power generation. Organic and inorganic constituents in various petrographic states alter chemically and physically. The products of coal combustion; unburned carbon, deposits, oxides of metals and non-metals, metal and non-metal complexes, need to be identified qualitatively and quantitatively to increase the coal combustion efficiency and to optimize the durability of power plant components.

Research findings have always had some significance for the educational community as it sought to be responsive to the need of its citizens for preparation for useful work. This has been especially true, however, since the publication of the Gordon-Howell (1959) and Pierson (1959) reports. These reports support the idea that higher education should prepare a man to do useful and remunerative work; however, they attack narrow vocational objectives as failing to prepare young people to do the most useful, or the most remunerative work of which they are capable (Silk, 1960). If education for business is to serve both its students and the business community, there is need for continuing research to increase empirical knowledge of prevailing business behavior and needs. These findings help provide direction so that overspecialization and overfragmentation of the curriculum may be avoided.

This paper describes a part of the research conducted for a doctoral dissertation. The purpose of the research was to test an approach to job analysis, specifically focusing on the utility of a certain set of constructs, those underlying the scales of the principal instrument used in the study, for job analysis purposes. Because a rather substantial part of the study and the background for the study would not be of interest to any but a few of the people assembled here, much explanatory material has been omitted. What will hopefully be of more general interest will be the manner in which the job analysis was conducted, the outcomes of various phases of the job analysis, and the implications of these outcomes. This is because the occupation at which the job analysis is directed is the computer programming group (business programmer type), the reason for this choice being that the author has spent a much larger portion of his career as a computer programmer than he has as a job analyst.
