Digital composite structures definition is the basis for the data integration of CAD, CAE and CAM for composite structures. The key of digital composite structures definition is the modeling of material structures. In this paper the procedure of material structures modeling and contents of laminate lay-up definition data have been summarized briefly. Today composite structures can not be analyzed with true fiber orientations. True fiber orientations of discrete triangle elements have been used to approximate the final state of ply fibers and a XML file has been used to describe laminate lay-up definition data. Furthermore, automatic mapping of fiber orientation data to the finite element mesh based on user specified tolerances has been used to obtain the automatic data transfer from CAD software to CAE software. Finally, the data integration of the CAD software with two manufacturing systems has been presented.

Model parameters are identifiable if there exists a unique relationship between its input-output behaviour and the parameter values. The concept and approaches of analyzing the identifiability of parameters in mathematical models of nonlinear mechanical systems are presented in this paper. Since a global identifiability test using the analytical approach is intractable for even the simplest models, some numerical approaches to the local identifiability test are developed. It is proposed via the case study that one had better check the local identifiability of the model at the identified parameter point using the numerical approach, when the parameter identification procedure has been finished.

Lean logistics emphasis on the comprehensive improvement of quality, cost, function, i.e. the logistics value management. Value management of transport resources is an important aspect of logistics value management. This paper analyzed its value management connotation of transport resources on Lean Agricultural Products Logistics(LAPL), and constructed a value management model on transport resources in modern LAPL management. Thus, the system architecture was also studied. At last, the implementation of vale management system on transport resources unites LAPL management in Wuhan city circle was analyzes as an example.

The conveying bottle system meets a larger risk in high speed filling production line, and bottle falling, breaking and blocking in the high speed conveying process severely lower the production capacity and reliability of the conveying system. The effect of the bottle structure and conveying velocity on the bottle stability was analyzed. The container storage and conveying technology, conveying technology of merging into single line, and low push pressure technology of container were introduced so as to obtain high efficiency.

The numerical simulation model of mechanical oil expression from vegetable oil was developed. It was solved by using of combining finite difference with finite element. The displacement experiment for extracted sesame was used to validate the model. As an applied example, the predictions of pore-fluid pressure dissipation and distribution were carried out. The predicted values of displacement conformed to the measured values well. The pore-fluid pressure decreased with increasing pressing time. The pore-fluid pressure dissipation for the case of double surface seepage was faster than for the case of single surface under the same pressing pressure. The pore-fluid pressure distribution would become uniform with pressing time, and become nonuniform with pressing pressure. And the pore-fluid pressure distributions for the case of double surface seepage were generally more uniform than for the case of single surface.

The differential elimination algorithm is used to eliminate the non-observed variables of the nonlinear systems. By incorporating the algebraic observability and diagnosability concepts and using numerical differentiation algorithms, another approach to the certain classes of nonlinear systems fault diagnosis problem is presented.

A semidefinite programming (SDP) approach is presented to estimate bounds on static responses of structural systems with uncertain material and geometric parameters that are described as interval numbers. Under the constraint of static governing equations of the structural system, an ellipsoid of minimal size in the sense that minimizes the sum of squares of semi-axis lengths is sought to contain the exact solution set of the displacement responses. The computation is formulated as a (convex) SDP problem based on the results from semidefinite relaxation techniques, which can be solved very efficiently using interior-point algorithms. The approach presented here considers the modeling of the structural stiffness matrix containing uncertain structural parameters using linear fractional representation (LFR). We present a procedure to formulate the LFR of the structural stiffness matrix, combining with the finite-element method. It is shown by numerical examples that the approach can give reasonable estimates on the solution intervals, and tends to overestimate the bounds of some response quantities with the increasing number of the uncertain parameters. Using an interval-truncation procedure, more accurate results can be obtained. The microstructures of dehulled rapeseed cake under six applied pressures were measured using scanning electronic microscope and Image-pro software. Fractal dimensions were measured and calculated by the box-counting method. Results showed that the fractal characteristic of dehulled rapeseed cake was obvious, the fractal dimension were significantly affected by applied pressure. Their fractal dimension values decreased significantly with increasing applied pressure. It was concluded that with increasing applied pressure the pore structure is further complicated.

The rub failures between rotating and stationary parts in rotating machinery may contribute to vibration signals measured on the machine as the colored noise component. But, for the colored noise mixed in vibration signals, ordinary FFT or autoregressive (AR) spectrum analysis methods can't provide sufficient and reasonable spectra estimates. In this paper, we exploited Adaptive Line Enhancer (ALE) technique to separate the colored noise from vibration signals in the time domain. The capability of the technique was evaluated using Simulink for some simulated vibration signals composed of three sinusoids and an additive colored noise. The results show that the technique is capable of separating accurately colored noise even at a lower level of colored noise, and tracking the level variation of colored noise in simulated signals. Further experimental tests for actual complex vibration signals will be conducted to validate the technique.

The microstructures of peanut cake under five applied pressures were measured using stereo light microscope and Image-pro software. Fractal dimensions of pore section border and pore size distribution were measured and calculated by the slit island process. Regression method was used to analyse the correlation between the fractal dimension and applied pressure. Results showed that the fractal characteristic of pore structure in peanut cake was obvious, and its fractal dimension values decreased significantly with increasing applied pressure.

A mechatronic leveling control system is presented in this paper, which is constituted with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), high precise level obliquity sensor and mechanical drive system. A hybrid closed loop control structure of AC servo is proposed for this system, and the mathematical model is built. A kind of P-fuzzy-PID control, which includes proportional control, fuzzy control and Proportional-Integral-Differential (PID) control adopted respectively according to different level error, is brought forward and the fuzzy controller is designed. The method combines the advantages of the PID control and the fuzzy control while overcoming their drawbacks. The simulation model of P-Fuzzy-PID control is constructed and the simulation result shows that this method is superior to the traditional PID control.

In view of effect of fluid-solid coupling on flow of oil fluids through media and effect of rheology on fluid-solid coupling, the numerical simulation models of mechanical oil expression from vegetable oil wet-e developed. The models were solved by using of combining finite difference with finite element. The displacement experiments for extracted peanut were used to validate the models. The predicted values are in good agreement with the measured ones.

Differential algebra tools have been applied to study the identifiability of dynamic systems described by polynomial or rational equations, but have hardly ever been considered to check the diagnosability of nonlinear systems. The diagnosability here is given by the algebraic observability of the variable modelling the fault. In this note, the differential polynomials defining dynamical systems are considered as the generators of a differential ideal in a differential ring. The characteristic set of this ideal describes the same solution set of the original system. Its special structure allows to construct the exhaustive summary of the model used to test the diagnosability.

The catalytic steam gasification of palm oil wastes for hydrogen-rich gas production was experimentally investigated in a combined fixed bed reactor using the newly developed nano-NiO/??-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> catalyst. The results indicated that the nano-NiO/??-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> catalyst had greater activity for the cracking of tar in vapor and of hydrocarbons and a higher hydrogen yield than the calcined dolomite in catalytic steam gasification of palm oil wastes. Meanwhile, a series of experiments have been performed to explore the effects of temperature, steam to biomass ratio (S/B) and biomass particle size on gas composition and gas yield. The experiments demonstrated that temperature was the most important factor in this process, higher temperature contributed to more hydrogen production and gas yield. Compared with biomass catalytic gasification, the introduction of steam improved gas quality and yield, the optimal value of S/B was found to be 1.33 under the present operating condition. It was also shown that a smaller particle was more favorable for gas quality and yield.

After analyzing the characteristic of engineering drawing design and experiment education model, new teaching methods of using SolidWorks and ObjectARX are put forward. Using SolidWorks to create 3D objects has to be applied. The reasons for improved teaching quality compared to CAI courseware are investigated. ObjectARX programming is studied using special samples of the safety valve. The quality advantages of using ObjectARX programming in AutoCAD are assumed to result from different teaching strategy and contents. It seems that using these teaching methods are satisfied.

This paper reviews experimental results concerning the use of an integrated streaming media technology which is applied on the practice teaching of die designing. The characteristics of the new experiment education model are presented on the basis of the technical advantage and the theoretical foundation of the streaming media technology. Their applications are discussed. The explanation of the fundamental is the technical principles of streaming media, constructivism, the instructional design and the transmission and control. The superiority of technology show more efficiency on compress, integrate, transfer and control the instructional information. The quality advantages of using this programming are assumed to result from different teaching strategy and contents. This paper introduces the streaming media technology and features, and gives useful research results and satisfied teaching methods.

Based on ARM9 RSIC CPU AT91SAM9260 and WinCE, the wireless data acquisition instrument for amusement ride was designed and developed. According to Ping-Pang mechanism, two buffers are created to save real-time sampling data in turns and the full buffer is saved to SD card between sampling timeslot. When data acquisition instrument begins to sample, the sampling start time is saved to a start time index file, and at the same time a directory coded by sampling start time is created to hold sampling data files. To avoid high bit error rate (BER), the length of data transporting frame is not over 100 bytes. The shell and system commands were used to delete and copy data files at the end of instrument, and the system command was used to merge data files at the end of supervisory controller. The implementations of data file operating were described in detail. The data acquisition instruments were used to collect running data of amusement rides in many amusement parks.
