摘要:
Shear storage and loss moduli (G″ and G ′) of a solution of konjac glucomannan (KGM) and milk powder were measured while varying angular frequency and temperature. Results showed that both G′ and G″ increased with the angular frequency sweeping from 0.1 rad/s to 100 rad/s, in a variety of temperatures and KGM concentrations. However, they decrease with temperature sweeping from 10°C to 50°C. These recorded curves were satisfactorily fitted to a multi-element Maxwell model. The angular sweep and temperature ramp data sitting along a sole line on the G″ -G′ diagram demonstrates the solution of KGM and milk powder obeys the time-temperature superposition principle. Furthermore, the fitted magnitude of G1 of the first multi-element Maxwell model is proportional to the concentration of the solution. These results are valuable for the optimising production of the functional KGM-milk food. © 2006 SAGE Publications.

摘要:
The title compound, IFB-Lactam-1 (systematic name: 2,15-dihydroxy-7-methyl- 6-azabicyclo[11.3.0]hexadec-3-en-5-one), C16H27NO 3, is a newly characterized natural anti-Gloeosporium kaki Hori compound. It was isolated from the EtOAc extract of the fermentation broth of an endophytic fungus Trichoderma sp. from cabbage. It is a 13-membered macrocyclic lactam which shares a two-atom edge with a cyclopentanol ring. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.

Effects of fumed silica on the viscosity of acrylic latex system

摘要:
Effects of fumed silica on the viscosity of acrylic latex system were studied by recording curves of the shear complex viscosity over shear rate and temperature and by measuring apparent viscosity with a variety of fumed silica concentrations at various steady angular velocities. Results show that the fumed silica obviously affects the shape and value of curves on the amplitude of complex viscosity versus either shear rate or temperature diagrams. Both dynamic and steady shear measurements illustrate a shear thinning phenomena for the acrylic latex filled with fumed silica. Dependence of the apparent viscosity on the fumed silica concentration can be satisfactorily modeled by the Krieger-Dougherty expression. A fitted parameter that quantitatively describes the sensitivity of the effect of fumed silica on the acrylic latex system increases with angular velocity, but decreases with latex solid content. 摘要:
Konjac glucomannan (KGM) is one of the most versatile soluble biomaterials having wide-ranging applications. The shear storage, G', and loss, G", moduli of this hydrocolloid were recorded as functions of angular frequency varying from 0.1 to 100.0 rad/s and temperature from 5 to 50 degrees C. It was found that both G' and G" mainly increase with angular frequency in the range from 0.1 to 100 rad/s. As the temperature increases from 5 to 95 degrees C, the values of G' and G" decrease. A novel criterion for the thermorheologically simple material, and a procedure to calculate the shift factor from the angular frequency sweep and temperature ramp data were presented. By these methods, the KGM hydrocolloid is found to obey the TTS principle as log G" and log G' are less than 1.529 and 1.436, respectively. The Williams-Landel-Ferry equation can describe the shift factor of the KGM hydrocolloid.

摘要:
Alachlor can be recalcitrant when present at high concentrations in wastewater. Ferrate oxidation was used as a pretreatment to improve its biodegradability and was evaluated by monitoring alachlor elimination and removal of COD<inf>Cr</inf> (chemical oxygen demand determined by potassium dichromate) during the oxidation process up to a value compatible with biological treatment. Ferrate oxidation resulted in elimination of alachlor followed by degradation of its intermediates. High pH suppressed alachlor removal and COD<inf>Cr</inf> removal due to the low redox potential of ferrate ions. Although alachlor can be totally eliminated within 10 min under optimized conditions (alachlor, 40 mg l<sup>-1</sup>;ferrate:alachlor molar ratio, 2;and pH 7.0), its complete mineralization cannot be achieved by ferrate oxidation alone. Alachlor solution treated by ferrate for 10 min inhibited an up-flow biotreatment with activated sludge. The biodegradability of ferrate-pretreated solution improved when the treatment was increased to 20 min, at the point of which BOD<inf>5</inf>/COD<inf>Cr</inf> ratio of the treated solution was increased to 0.87 from 0.35 after 10 min treatment. Under optimized conditions, ferrate oxidation for 20 min resulted in total elimination of alachlor, partial removal of COD<inf>Cr</inf> and the ferrate-treated solution could be effectively treated by the up-flow activated sludge process. ©2005 Elsevier B.V. 摘要:
A new type of SPE CO2 electrochemical sensor is reported. Potential program known as anodic adsorbate stripping was used to determine the oxidation charge of reduced CO2. A satisfactory linear relation was found between Qox and the CO2 concentration. In contrast with the CO2 sensors consisting of a liquid electrolyte, the stability of SPE CO2 sensor is better. In addition, the effect of temperature on SPE CO2 sensor has been studied. This system possessed many characteristics such as compact structure, no leakage problem, better stability, and good reproducibility. Copyright © Taylor & Francis, Inc.

摘要:
Porous spheres of CuSCN nanoparticles with an average diameter of 0.4-0.6 μm have been prepared by a simple reaction between CuO suspension, NH <inf>2</inf>OH and KSCN in the presence of gelatin at 10 °C. Gelatin played a decisive role as an inhibitor of the direct attack of NH<inf>2</inf>OH, KSCN to CuO surfaces and coagulation of the growing CuSCN in producing porous spheres. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectra techniques. ©2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

摘要:
This article reports the lubrication of the mixed system of CdS nanoparticles and Triton X-100/C<inf>10</inf> H<inf>21</inf>OH/H<inf>2</inf>O lamellar liquid crystals. CdS nanoparticles could be synthesized in the lamellar liquid crystal's solvent layer, limited by its amphiphile bilayer. The CdS nanoparticles were spherical and the size was about 5 nm. The lubrication properties of the mixed system of the lamellar liquid crystal and CdS nanoparticles were determined. The results showed that the presence of CdS nanoparticles could improve the antiwear ability and extreme pressure property of Triton X-I00/C<inf>10</inf> H<inf>21</inf>OH/H<inf>2</inf>O lamellar liquid crystals. 研究了层状液晶的层状结构及有序性,用偏振光显微镜法确定了辛烷基苯酚聚氧乙烯醚(TritonX-100)与正癸醇体系25℃时层状液晶的区域,绘制了部分相图,并用核磁共振氢谱法(2H-NMR)进一步验证;用自旋标记电子自旋共振法测定了层状液晶分子排列的有序参数,研究结果显示,不同组分TritonX-100/n-C10H21OH/H2O体系层状液晶的超精细偶合常数基本相同,表明层状液晶中的微极性是一致的.而有序参数随着TritonX-100含量的增加而增加,随着层状液晶中水含量的增加而减少;用小角度X射线衍射方法测定了层状液晶的层间距离,并计算了水分子在层状液晶中的渗透率,其渗透率约为50%.

摘要:
An aerodynamic evaluation method for internal epoxy coating in natural gas pipeline was presented by introducing the friction factor of flowing gas. Numerically calculated values of this factor from the Colebrook-White equation were compared with model experimental and field comparatively tested data. They show good agreement between the numerical and experimental results. Therefore, it proves that the Colebrook-White equation is available for evaluation of the epoxy coating in natural gas pipeline. With this method, the friction factors show a notable relative decrease rate up to 25% at Reynold's number of 4.32 x 10(7) for a pipe diameter of 1016 mm due to the application of the internal epoxy coating. 摘要:
Nanoribbons and monodispersed nanocrystals of CuBr have been prepared by a simple reaction between CuO suspension, NH<inf>2</inf>OH·HCl and KBr in the presence of deionized gelatin at 10°C. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy. The sizes of the monodispersed nanocrystals of CuBr were estimated by Debye-Scherrer formula according to XRD spectrum. ©2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

摘要:
报道了以磷酸氢二铵为基体改进剂, 采用悬浮体制样石墨炉原子吸收光谱法(GFAAS)测定板栗中微量铅的方法. 对悬浮体的制备、基体改进剂的选择及用量、灰化温度、原子化温度、常见元素对测定的干扰等进行了研究. 在优化实验条件下, 本法的检出限为0.47 ng·mL-1, 相对标准偏差(RSD)为6.1%, 加标回收率在90%~106%之间.

摘要:
The syntheses of the dinuclear copper(II) complexes 1 and 2 of oxamido-bridge were reported. Reaction kinetics and the mechanism on hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl picolinate (PNPP) and p-nitrophenyl acetate (PNPA) catalyzed by the metallomicelles formed from the complex (1 or 2) and surfactants (N-lauroyl sarcosinate (LSS), polyoxyethylene (23) lauryl ether (Brij35), cetyl pyridinium bromide (CPB)) were investigated. The kinetic mathematical models for the catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP and PNPA were proposed, respectively. The effects of different micelles and the structure of the ligands on the catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP and PNPA were discussed in detail. The results showed that the rate enhancement of the catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP following the intramolecular reaction is bigger than that of PNPA following the intermolecular reaction in the same experimental conditions, and the metallomicelle containing oxamido-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex may be a potential catalyst for the hydrolysis of PNPP and PNPA. © 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
The macrocyclic Schiff base complexes of Cu(II) and Zn(II) in Brij35 micellar solution are investigated kinetically for the catalytic hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl acetate (PNPA) and p-nitrophenyl picolinate (PNPP) at 30°C. The results indicate that different mechanisms are operative for the two complexes in the hydrolysis of PNPA and PNPP. The Cu(II) complex can only catalyze the hydrolysis of PNPP by the mechanism which involves the nucleophilic attack of external hydroxide ion on the carbonyl, while the Zn(II) complex can accelerate the hydrolysis of both PNPP and PNPA, by way of the intramolecular nucleophilic attack of zinc-bound hydroxide ion on carbonyl for PNPP and the less effective intermolecular nucleophilic attack of zinc-bound hydroxide ion on carbonyl for PNPA, respectively. The catalytic activity of Zn(II) complex is close to or even higher than that of Cu(II) complex. The reason is discussed in details. ©2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Gelatin played a decisive role as an inhibitor of the direct attack of NH<inf>2</inf>OH, KBr to CuO surfaces and coagulation of the growing CuBr in producing the cubes. The products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectra techniques and UV-visible absorption spectroscopy. The sizes of the subunits of the polycrystalline CuBr particles were estimated by Debye-Scherrer formula according to XRD spectrum. ©2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

摘要:
Abstract Comparative reactivities of different metal ions in different micellar solutions (cationic, anionic, nonionic micelle) for the hydrolysis of p‐nitrophenyl picolinate (PNPP) were investigated spectrophotometrically at pH 7.0 and 25°C. The kinetics analysis was carried out by invoking a model of micellar catalysis. The results show that compared with metal ions in aqueous solution, cationic micelles inhibit metal ion catalyzed hydrolysis of PNPP, anionic micelles accelerate metal ion catalyzed hydrolysis of PNPP and nonionic micelles show no appreciable effect on metal ion catalyzed hydrolysis of PNPP. The higher the electron charge of metal ions, the greater these effects are, indicating electrostatic interactions are the major reason for metal ion catalyzed hydrolysis of PNPP in micellar solution.

摘要:
This paper describes the effect of four types of amine (ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine, tetraethylenepentamine) as polar additives on the critical micellar concentrations (CMCs) of ionic surfactants, [cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)] in buffered solutions (I=0.1 M KN0<inf>3</inf>, 0.01 M Tris-TrisH<sup>+</sup>) at pH 7.00 ±0.01 by electrical conductivity. It was found that the CMCs of these surfactants all decreased with increasing amine concentrations and the extent of effect followed the sequence: tetraethylenepentamine >triethylenetetramine >diethylenetriamine >ethylenediamine. Based on these results, several empirical linear models were obtained. From the experimental data, it is apparent that the extent of decreasing CMCs of CTAB and SDS by the same amine is roughly similar, and this may be ascribed to the polarity of additives and hydrogen bond interactions.

摘要:
Abstract The catalytic hydrolysis of p‐nitrophenyl acetate (PNPA) by copper ion complexes of diamine‐based ligands in cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) micellar solution was investigated kinetically at 25°C. A binary complex kinetic model for metallomicellar catalysis was suggested to treat quantitatively the catalytic hydrolysis of PNPA. The results indicated that copper ion complexes of diamine‐based ligands in CTAB micellar solution catalyze the hydrolysis of PNPA to different extents and the catalytic mechanism is believed to involve copper coordinated water deprotonization to form a nucleophile for nucleophilic attack.
