在认知语言学研究范式下,传统修辞学中名词性隐喻的喻底可以被抽象成为临时认知域( ad hoc cognitive domain, ACD)。该认知域是原隐喻中本体和喻体的上位概念,本体和喻体是这一认知域的范畴成员。由此,名词隐喻中的跨域映射经由临时认知域转化成为同一认知域域内成员之间的映射,即转喻或转喻机制在名词隐喻的产生或理解中起着基础性的作用。从转喻和隐喻的各自的认知基础来看,这也是符合人类认知规律的:相似性基于邻近性,邻近性保证相似性。
摘要:
Philosophers have long argued on context. From their argumentations, it is clear that context is not an isolated issue, but closely related to the value and meaning of language. The first part covers the study on the value of language in context. The standard of the value of the speaker's utterance is different from that of the hearer's. The second part studies the meaning of language at the word and sentence level and analyses a conversational interaction in detail. Context serves intention which lies in the core of communications. The third part illustrates the role of context in communications and reveals the essence of context.

摘要:
Computer assisted language learning provides the primary motive for the reform and development of English (as a second language) teaching. The present paper explores and compares the characteristics of traditional language teaching and computer assisted language learning and points out their advantages and shortcomings respectively. It comes to a conclusion that only by integrating those two teaching models in our language teaching can we cultivate fresh language talents that are skilled and useful in the development of our society.
